...Me and Charles Njonjo are not 'paying' anything to the church until after the referundum. We fear the tithes and offerings may be used to 'buy' voters into the NO vote. ...This is Kenya and old habits die hard. Anybody with us...

It does not make sense @magigi, coz what if they take loans only to wait for you n njonjo to resume then repay the loans using your tithes n offerings!!! I always treat the tithe issue as one between me n God, what the clergy does with it after I have given is immaterial to me. After all they will be called to account for it just as I will be called to account.
AM BETTER OFF BEING A REPENTANT SINNER THAN A RELIGIOUS HYPOCRITE.

If i know njonjo.. I think he does more than just pay his tithe to God..

How else does one explain why he can engage the Anglican clergy face to face on other matters as well, like arbotion, homosexuality etc..?
labda they are in some businesses together (with ACK being fond of owning earthly assets)...i dont know, just my two cents
