Target remains 23. @metaspoilt you had a target at 25. Let's see how things play out as we approach H1 in November. Agreed.. Another huge volume traded (53M) at 19.70 Thursday last week saw 106M with VWAP at 19.40 Supply past 20 drying up completely. With this greed overshoot remains 25! “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”

Safaricom 25.9 million subscribers Airtel Kenya 6.5 million Orange Kenya 5.2 million Equitel 2 Million Market share is deceptive: Safaricom still has 77.8% of voice traffic (+1%), 93.9% SMS traffic (+4%)

Meanwhile the 20 handle gap is getting filled as supply is absorbed. Gap being closed. Next comes the all time highs retest before the next move higher. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

Safaricom 25.9 million subscribers Airtel Kenya 6.5 million Orange Kenya 5.2 million Equitel 2 Million Since most of them are duplicates, eg me I have a number registered in Safaricom and Equitel, it all depends on which line is the most active. Safaricom and airtel definitely command over 90% of the money spent on these lines.

Equitel should be leading in that one. In the world of securities, courage and patience become the supreme virtues after adequate knowledge and a tested judgment are at hand.

Safaricom and airtel definitely command over 90% of the money spent on these lines. There's a metric known as average revenue per customer. and profitablity per customer. Equitel should be leading in that one. Equitel will only lead due to the mammoth size of Safaricom, over 26 million active sim cards. Some of them are modem sim cards while are rarely used. But my pick will still be safaricom in profitablity per customer and revenue per customer. Equitel should just be at the 1bn mark in interest income assuming 3bn a month in outstanding loans. Voice calls and SMS i have no idea but it cant be that huge since the non-interest income on their results hasn't changed much since Equitel. My guest for the current ARPU in Equitel on a yearly basis is 500-1500. Compare that with safaricom 177bn from 25m customers, should be around 7000. Equitel cannot even compete with Okoa Jahazi product alone in terms of revenue and profits.

For now it is not easy to get back to 12bob but remember one cardinal principle in the stock market-anything is possible. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
