@kalahari.co.ke that's more like it. Your e-Readers were expensive and model unknown.

But I like what I see on the books, movies and music; considering Silverbird's consignment in the airport has been "coming" for the last so many many months.

I'll search for some Hans Zimmer sound tracks and see what you can pull up smile

@kyt like mixing water and oil - surely can't compare bootleg prices and original prices.

Now once in a while I want a keeper; a classic for the personal library that you can pass down. Few shops in Nairobi selling originals, and if they even have the movie, Kes 1,800 to my doorstep is fair.

And the music, the James Ingram at Kes 971 - fab. There was a Rwandese lady friend, who many years ago borrowed my James Ingram collection on tapes. But then she went back to Rwanada and my ears are still longing for the music...

@Jaguar thanks. @kyt and @proverb smile yes Michael Scofield is indeed the same. But you misundertand, I said it is difficult to compare the PRICES of bootleg and original.

But your sentiments also made me pensive, is there no difference between bootleg and original? Many times NO but in some cases not so...

1. I know of a certain young man who bought an engagement ring for the love of his life. It was the first time he'd done so and budget was tight. A shop ran once ran by Koreans in town offered the best option, but 3 weeks later, he realised the beautiful ring was fake. So what to do, what to do?

2. A young lady who loves reading came across a compilation of 'Speeches that Changed the World' by Owens Collins. The book has it all from The Ten Commandments (Moses), The Beatitudes (Jesus Christ), I had a voice from God to help me (Joan of Arc), I neither can nor will recant anything (Martin Luther), Virtue in Rags and Patches (Charles Dickens), An ideal for which I am prepared to die (Nelson Mandela) etcetra etc.

The 66 speeches are easily downloadable from the Internet yet she wanted the tome as part of her treasured works. So what to do, what to do?

3. I know of someone who once received a Michael Jackson's The Ultimate Collection as a birthday present from his wife almost 7 years ago - a black case with 4cds/1dvd of all famous works over the life of the king of pop. About a year later, I saw the exact same collection in NuMetro going for about Kes 6,000. Would it mean as much if it was just a download?

I could download "Rich Dad Poor Dad" right now. But I want to buy it at BookPoint today.
Sometimes it's all about what experience you want with the book/movie and what you already feel about it.We are all different I guess. So for those downloading for free.....do so.....also let those selling for 1,800sh do so.Most likely, you are not the target customer.
