The share price of KQ is lower than the EPS of KenRe. One of the stocks I went into after selling off my KQ in 2012 was KenRe.

LOL. Why compare stock prices for different companies in different sectors.. How logical is that.. KQ share has suffered a set back with the tyre burst yesterday but we may need to find out from @vvs whether that was the first tyre burst in aviation history

My bad. I didn't realize that a tyre burst was the reason for 3 years of consecutive multi-billion losses.
My bad. As an investor, I should not have compared the PER or PB for firms in different sectors.
My bad. It's wrong of me to compare the dividend of 75 cents I received from KenRe which is 20% of the share price of KQ coz they are in different sectors.
My bad that I compared the EPS of KenRe vs the share price of KQ.

Thanks for the apologies and remember that KENRE has never made any significant moves in share price. KQ made millionaires over a period of time while KENRE is only a few shillings above IPO price..

It applies when the (shares) firm you are buying is a good firm facing:
1) A "fearful" market [sentiments]
2) A temporary setback
3) Quality Management

Who are KQ creditors? They are letting down the capital markets down by not seeing this as a bankruptcy event.

Agreed.. It all depends on the revenue share agreements. KQ is one of many carriers.. ION, the share was up 8.5% today
