@Callaspade

You sure they'll dispose immediately after use by each motorist. The cost!

Again suppose I've taken just one Tusker how am I judged, guilty. Does the gadget determine how much Alcohol one has taken.

I thought the essence here is to control drunken/intoxicated driving.

The surest way to tell is to check blood for alcohol level in the system. That requires a medic.

...at Nandwa,the fine for drunken driving is close to 10k.They can buy you one tube every day without blinking.
...this means you pay for the guy who is never caught,but you get to tell him so next time he behaves too.
....The gadget has a scale,once i was caught in foreign land at the weeeeeeee hours but was saved by a well-wisher who came and slammed the police car.They wanted him dead or alive so i was pardoned,drove home and served a short on ice,phew!

2 units of alcohol = 2 beers, I single shot of whisky, 2 glasses of wine, a double vodka, Surely this is a joke to Kenyans. Biashara gani hii?

@ dossy7

4 beers for a Kenyan? No ways, 7 is more like it. Women will be happy husbands are home early. Fight against corruption will be reversed as those cops will use their own gadgets and go looking for money. Last time a few overnight millionaires were made. Population will explode due to the diverted energies (do we really want this?). Tusker will suffer. Pubs in town will suffer. Government to collect less taxes. Beer also works well for some people's health (I being one of them). Last time 10,000 workers in town lost their jobs. Can we afford it?

@FundamentAli, I totally agree, and the way I/we know cops, they'll be out with a bang (that was hilarious by the way @willingtolearn) for the first few weeks and then resort to bribes and extortion!

It came the first time and went - while the idea is noble and overdue (God knows how many times people get home and can't remember how they did so), I think it can't work here (yet) and for unfortunately,for now, I have no suggestion...kazi imenichokesha
BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
