Where can I find KE banks exposure (lending) for Real Estate?
[Land, Buildings, Houses, etc]
I do not believe that the total number of mortgages [not just loans deemed to be mortgages] amount to less than 30,000.
1. Do the majority of Kenyans buy houses in cash [no loan]?
2. Do Kenyans borrow loans under "other" pretexts then invest in Real Estate?
3. How do banks (mis)classify loans under (2)?
4. How are loans taken by property developers classified?
5. How many loans are collateralized by Real Estate?
6. In the event of a property slump, how exposed are KE banks?
Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
