Hapa Afrika tumezidi na mambo ya rigging elections and post election violence. Its not that common elsewehere. Even in the Caribbean and in South America. Look at Haiti. As poor as they are, Michel Martelly peacefully stepped aside when his term was up.

Ati nini? Haiti with all that bloody political past and Nicaragua where the president has nominated his wife to be the running mate?!

You are smoking something fierce. This discussion is about rigging elections.

And Haiti's last few presidential transitions have been orderly. Waafrika ndio bado wamezidi na rigging.

As for Nicaragua, if they elect Ortega despite his running mate being his wife, they cant blame rigging either.

For Ping, it is Karma at work. He was at AU when he laughed off Baba's tribulations, then. smile

C&P

Indeed WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND;
Gabon's opposition leader Jean Ping was the AU chairman when Kibaki grabbed Raila's election victory and recognised him as dully elected president of kenya. Raila shouldn't make any move of defending him. Let him feel how someone's victory is stolen.
