The Mariana Trench

The Mariana Trench or Marianas Trench is the deepest part of the world's oceans. It is located in the western Pacific Ocean, to the east of the Mariana Islands. The trench is about 2,550 kilometres (1,580 mi) long with an average width of 69 kilometres (43 mi). It reaches a maximum-known depth of 11 KM. Yes - just east of the philippines... High pressure areas.... creatures that live at the very bottom are so adapted to having 11kms of water pressing on their bodies. Kawaida Sub marines cannot withstand the pressure . heck even light does not go that low and even corpses of dead fish don't fall that low.... it's crazy!! so imagine if your ship sank there? There is this movie "Life of Pi" that had such a scene. My hinterland african brain couldn't conceptualize floating on 11kms of water and not only that to see your ship sinking into the 11km abyss that is the Mariana Trench. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

 Some time back I took famo out to see crocs at mamba village and remember over hearing a certain lady lamenting - these creatures have "evil looking" eyes.  Got me thinking... what makes us classify animals as being "evil"? The Owl for example? Black cats? is it mythology? I have seen images like these floating on facebook  I am sure there is a person somewhere wondering "what is hellboy doing arm wrestling a white dude in arabic clothing?" All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

wewe @masukuma, have you been face to face with an owl, the other day one perched near where I hustle, being the first time I have come across one that close and since the guys around were telling me that ikika hapo someone will die, I decided to chase it away,
as i tried to 'shuuu' it away, wacha that thing turned around and looked at me, it sent shivers down my spine, then it started like nkt'ing me, those nigerian movie sounds, mimi nika retreat, that thing has badass eyes
