Am I crazy to have added at 19.8? Been thinking each high from 7 was the ceiling and lost out. With a prior average of 5.5 guess can afford to delve in, and with longterm and dividends in mind, will buy till my average is 13

You are doing well gatoho. You should have waited for book closure on 2nd sept to add more.Im sure the price will come down.
My current average buying price is kshs 16.60.My current target purchase price is kshs 14.00.I will wait untill i see it.

You might wait for a long time, figured will be hard for it to fall that much as the beat recedes. Whenever I get funds will keep adding including after book closure. Ikianguka, fine, if not am still good

That special dividend excited the market, i would rather wait to see what happens after book closure

The pullback was shallow and on thin volumes just enough to dry supply at 21

I am also confused..The share might surprise ex div
The dip might be insignificantly shallow

And HY is always 2 months away...Significant volumes traded at 17-18.50.

RSI has stayed above 65!!!

@ericsson,whats your current abp?
i will also see how things goes between book closure and fy 16 announcement, thats roughly between 1st september 2016 to 30th aprill 2017.I might consider to increase my current abp of 16.60 to 17.60 if i buy at 15.60 or 16.60.

Hating on safaricom:
1. Wanjiku carried the pregnancy and bore the child (IPO and refund saga)
2. Wanjiku nurtured the child through hardship (Stagnant share price coupled with very low dividends to earn all of the 85Bn in retained earning)
3. Wanjiku got bought off on the cheap by the fat cats (HNW investors, Foreigners, Institutions)
4. Fat cats pumped the price and invaded the cookie jar (awarded themselves Super High dividends + a forced SPECIAL dividend) - Wanjiku's blood, sweat and labour over the years
5. Fat cats are now planning to hand over the emaciated stock back to Wanjiku at a princely sum for another cycle.

Disclaimer: I sold my holding at a good profit smile BUT at a paltry Ksh. 4.10 Sad

Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.
