For a short term investor I think it is ideal to sell now and buy after the rights issue when the share will lose value due to dilusion (though temporary).
Hold till towards end of 2011 or 2012 when it is expected to appreciate reasonably (at least 50% up)

For a long term investor like me I am looking forward to picking up the rights.

@Haiyaa..

You need to look at something called Opportunity cost. If you exit the market at 23.5 (possible) and put the money elsewhere that has more potential you end up better off than waiting forever for a share to go up. IN my opinion there are better stocks in the market than KCB.

To make money, you got to lose some at one point.

@haiyaa in stocks patience pays. Unless you have an emergency, hold on to the stock, make periodic buys when price falls, re-invest the dividend, take up the rights. One day the markets wakes up, appreciates (or over-appreciates) your stock's full potential and voila... you sell and retire.
