Trading using diffrent stock brokers

i need to be enlightened.
Is it possible for you to trade your shares using different brokers but the same CDSC account.
e.g. my cdsc is account x and my current broker is nic whom i have been giving all buy/sell orders. Can i give orders to equity broker to sell shares in my account x?

Boss you can use as many brokers as you wish but each broker has authority over the shares they bought for you only to curb fraud bwana.

Yes, you can open accounts through as many stockbrokers as you want. However, when an account is opened using one stockbroker, only that stockbroker can transact on that account

This could be misleading in that you don't need to open several CDSC accounts just because you are using different brokers. One is enough.
