Kenya Airways...why ignore..

KQ is now stable from a cashflow perspective but the threat from the exits is REAL and may ground some aircrafts moving forward if nothing is done. If you want to see it yourself just open a linked in account and update your CV as a pilot with over 3000 jet hours. You will get an invite for a pilot job interview application within 2 weeks. For technicians it is even worse. It won't be very dire as you anticipate.The working conditions in the Middle East are very pathetic and not everyone will jump ship. Even those who are already there are likely to come back.The workload is just too much. The Indians, Pakistanis and Filipinos employed by the gulf carriers are lazy and Kenyans carry the burden when they go there. The rest periods are just the bare minimum even for cabin and deck crew.The offer always looks good on paper but due to the high cost of living you will end up disappointed.No one among those who are there will tell you this, they always say let everyone come and check it out for himself/herself. In general, the grass is not greener on the other side as many think.This applies to pilots and technicians as well.

I always read Engineering staff are poached by Emirates but i never see KQ advertise for Engineers. I always check their website but nothing. My question is, How do KQ recruit Engineers. Kindly any one with information let me know. I would really really love to work for the Airline industry.
