In just under two months,Theresa May is set to become the next UK's Prime Minister. If Hillary Clinton wins the US election, Germany's Angela Merkel completes the threesome.
What does this hold for the World's future?

I dont really think gender issue impacts greatly on governance. It boils down to the individual leadership traits and above all, structures which no matter the person in charge, the interests of majority is safeguarded. The countries you are mentioning,UK,USA and Germany are deeply structured in a tradition of stability and prosperity such that it doesnt necessarily depends so much on who is the head. The heads mainly play a largely ceremonial and PR aspects while the laid down structures play major and crucial roles. So whether its a man or woman in the said countries, its inconsequental really.
Your observation may hold some water if it comes to Africa. As you know very well its a man eats woman society.

Well put @Ebenyo.
Its the indeed the structures that matters most rather the person at the top. This is in the developed worlds.
This is what we should strive to have, efficient structures.

Man or woman nobody cares. Everyone is busy comparing the sizes of their chicken. Have u seen any difference btn women led and men led constituencies in Kenya?

This issue of identity politics is really grating. Please let's not let gender parity overwhelm our senses. Stick to merit. Not saying these women lack the merit, just saying the merit should be the overriding factor.

Make your judgment

1. from Forbes.

2
link from Harvard research

3.

business insider

Growing up I remember I was told to marry a woman who was Atleast 4yrs younger than me because woman matures faster emotionally and reasoning than men.

To add to that when divorce proceeding is going on even if the woman was the one doing wrong usually the judges statements go like " it's the best interest for the kids to be raised by their mother" I rarely see kids taken to father hata kama the woman is drunkard the state would prefer the kid raised by aunt ,or even foster homes kama ni majuu but rarely father.

I agree with all you guys .most companies succeed because of laid structures so that whoever comes to be a leader be it a woman or man it doesn't matter. Though apart from having emotions rollercoasters women make better judgements in common sense issues .That's just my take

My analysis is just from simple common sense and stand to be corrected. smile
