Just read this story on SN. Too too sad.

The murderers ensured the last trail of the victims' phones were in Kawangware and Busia.

Willie left a note at the cells...

But let's not politicise. Those involved should face the law but that doesn't mean the murders were authorised by top police command

which means he was in police custody before being found dead, if this investigation is botched then guys we are back beyond Nyayo.
The sad thing is looking at the picture of the taxi guy to him it was just a normal day.
I hear Safaricom refused to help sad.Sad

PRESS STATEMENT 01072016
Today marks one of the darkest day in the history of the legal profession in Kenya. The brutal murder of Lawyer Willie Kimani, Josephat Mwendwa and Joseph Muiruri by the Kenyan Police demonstrates a clear abuse of police powers.
The legal profession as well as the Constitution of Kenya are under attack. Those charged with the responsibility of providing security to Kenyans have turned upon us and become our greatest tormentors. Following these developments it has become necessary to draw the line on these extra-judicial killings at the hands of Police death squads and the Law Society of Kenya therefore demands the following;
The immediate closure of the Syokimau Administration Police Camp, as well as the immediate suspension and disbarment of all officers posted at the camp
The immediate resignation of the Inspector General of Police Mr. Joseph Boinnet, the Deputy Inspector General Administration Police Mr. Samuel Arachi, and the stepping aside of the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior Mr. Jospeh Nkaiserry, Failure to which the Law Society of Kenya shall petition for their removal.
To the members of the legal profession, the Council calls on all Advocates to down their tools in all courts and tribunals across the country for the whole of next week so as to participate in and concentrate on the pursuit of justice in Miscellaneous Criminal Case No. 244/2016, Law Society of Kenya & 3 others vs. Attorney General & 3 others, Scheduled for hearing on the 5th of July 2016 and to reflect on the events that have occurred.
The Council calls upon all the Advocates to continue donning the purple ribbon during this time.
The Law Society of Kenya will raise funds to meet the burial expenses of all the deceased persons and will provide a pay bill number through which members can contribute.
The LSK takes this opportunity to once again condole with friends and Family of our three departed country men and to assure them and the country at large that we shall do all it takes to ensure that we find justice for them. May God rest our brothers souls in peace.

@maka, just seen something on Twitter. The cops in custody are not the ones who were being investigated.

The grand mullah and many others are pushing a theory that the trio were executed by the cid.

Read that but what would be the motivation for the CID to do such a thing?
