Three billy goats gruff? e.t.c. There was one about STONE SOUP! a character walks into a town supposedly not knowing what to cook and makes for them a stone soup - one of the ingredients was 'Radishes'... it was also the first place I read about 'turnips'... i was like 10 or 11 then

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly I thought so too.

Anyhow @Impunity you can get those items at City Park or Ngara fresh from small holder farms within Kiambu and environs.

And now that you have developed a taste for classy vegetables, you could also pick cantaloupe and turnips.

In the fruits category Pepino Melon, blue berries and Chriramoya can be in your list.

Hii Zucchini iko wapi?

For the ones you saw were they red or the clamsy white?

Middo class gani hii hapana jua zucchini?

Yeye ako lower middle class.

Aangalie hapa.

Basically a bunch of radish goes for 18 Bob while a bunch of sukuma wiki is 25 bob. Radish is much cheaper than sukuma.

ION, I went shopping and was shocked that a bunch of asparagus has shot to 900 bob...........from 700 bob.

I agree with you , its the better option. Invest in a fruit extractor and pap its an investment.Hizo juice and some are 75% water and 25% fruits.
Man a litre of those juices is 100sh hapa Kiashland. And then imported juice ati 600sh a litre.
I pay 600sh for a kilo of imported tropical fruits kina passion na mangoes + pawpaws. No wonder people spend so much of their income on food.

Yeah. 350 bob can buy you 35 fresh succulent oranges hapo kwa mama mboga. It's healthier to take whole fruits.

You cook. Remember to put soya sauce, sugar, sake( kind of alcohol used mainly to cook) or miso soup.
