Dear Wazuans,

I was planning to sell some land but got a rude shock that it cant be done in the absence of the lands boards. I need a consent and i am told there is a way it can be back dated. However the backdated consent will have to be ratified by the incoming board. The buyer is being financed by a bank......Please advice

Is this not a countrywide problem since that bumpkin closed out all the boards without a plan B in case his two week turnaround for new boards wasn't in place?
Now pripery is the order of the day to get funny consents that can be back-dated.

Sadly they have been backdating since time immemorial!! The so called "special boards" are nothing but a scenario whereby pre signed documents are left in the office with the secretary or whoever and once you pay the "special board fee" (higher of course) the details are filled in pap!!!

Welcome to Kenya(robbery)!!!

I saw one where the seller did not even show up!!! The pre signed documents (from the owner) were brought by the son in law!!! Meaning you can be kidnapped and forced to sign your land away and "special board" does the rest!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

That bumpkin is everything wrong with leadership ever since his days at the Education Ministry.

..and why are these Chupi-lee cabinet secretaries fond of badly thought out decisions?
- Education; turning schools into a mini-prison will curb cheating
- Finance; bad taxation, the car excise tax debacle very recent

Go back to Devolution and the list is endless..
