- requirements to open an account
- whether they offer online trading (convenient for most people)
- fees charged (some greedy brokers sneaked in a maintenance fee on top of already exorbitant trading commissions)

To invest in bonds, you'll need to open a CDS account at the Central Bank of Kenya.
