The precision of the period of time is impressive - but it just tempts me to ask - is there a test that was conducted to come up with this assertion? why not 3months or 5 months? Im also waiting for the answer @masukums, the foetus makes voluntary movements the moment a soul is put in it. I challenge you to carry out a test and you'll come to confirm this, if you're lucky. NOTE: BUT I CAN GUARANTEE YOU, THIS WILL NOT BE DISPROVED. Ibn Masud narrated that the Prophet Muhammad pbuh said: For every one of you, the components of his creation are gathered together in the mother's womb for a period of forty days. Then he will remain for two more periods of the same length, after which the angel is sent and insufflates the spirit into him. [Hadith received by al-Bukhari and Muslim]After first 40 days: components gather together After next 40 days: components develop further After next 40 days: soul is put and becomes voluntary movts so... if movement is mark of voluntary movements - what about that of a rat? on the quotation from some random arabic speakers from 1400 @masukuma, yes even the rat has one. A different kind of soul from that of humans. I told you before ( i guess you didn't read the last statement in this post (Quran 81:5)) that animals, including your rat, will be alive and gathered on the Day of Judgement like humans. If they have no soul this action will be meaningless. You didn't think beyond that, right? And this is mentioned in the Quran says: And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. [Quran 6:38] what about amoeba? shall it be gathered? @masukuma, how big is our universe? Is it possible that from a far distance, is it possible that you look like a a bacteria and someone sitting 92.96 million miles away may have to look through microscopes to locate you? Do you think if that person is discovering you for the first time might think you are unintelligent being, with simple purposes of attacking vegetation and animals and drinking water and emitting industrial gases etc making the earth sick (drought, pollution etc), the same way we see bacteria attacking body cells? so... will Amoeba be gathered? what happens to the children who die after your BS period of time? will they be gathered? what about the crunchy chicks in balut? @masukuma, the question I was trying to pose to you is: If this is possible to gather you, I don't think anyone can rightfully consider it impossible that amoeba could be just like us if you look from a far distance. So yes, every creature will be gathered. What is "crunchy chicks in balut"?

I have been watchingn and now I have to say something. I find it disturbing how Alphdoti is being slippery around our revered thinkers and they cannot pin him down even in one lousy point.
Wakanyugi, like an enzyme, has confessed he is not active on Alphdoti's substrate while Tycho is still 'preparing a response' whatever that means and Maskums is asking about amoebas .... C'mon guys, bana. Is it a slow day or what?
Where is the passion, the fire with which you have scorched believers and they ran back to their gods in tears weeping at the rought treatment you meted to them?
hehehehe.

I guess you are referring to prophets when you say "some guys from long ago". Let me give you a small dose of that "stuff". There are alot of things which the scientists of today DO NOT understand yet. Some scientific facts have only became understood in the 19th and 20th century. One of them is embryology. And all along, for over 1,400 years embryology was already written in a Book ( from long ago ) and the scientists now confirmed what the book says in this subject. Many scientists have said that they believe what is written in the BOOK is accurate according to present knowledge. A knowledge which was not available to scientists until recent centuries. And maybe in another 50 or 100 years to come (we won't be here), the Embryologists of that day will confirm more verses. So it is not just "believing", but it is facts. How is that for good 'stuff'?

How is that for good 'stuff'? the was a guy called Nostradamus - he used to write 'stuff'... here is the thing he wrote many many things as predictions, he wrote these things in a vague manner and what happened is people would read through his prophesies and subjectively apply them on current affairs and as soon as something occurred they went back to the writings and interpreted them to the current situation. I believe the word for that is pareidolia! looking at something subjectively looking for stuff. So that happens with all tomes from long ago. We subjectively apply what we have learnt on the writings and say... YOU SEE! THEY KNEW ABOUT IT! Do you think hindus follow the Gita coz it's just from long ago? they are like a billion people believing that thing - they can apply it to today's reality. So you also are not alone. but i really didn't want to go here coz I wanted to stick to FACTS... TESTABLE FACTS and not what some camel riding persons from long ago proposed as the position on things they didn't understand. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

There is no resurrection day / there will be no resurrection!!! You die once and that is it. Even RIP is useless terminology to appease the living. Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune - Jim Rohn.

@AlphDoti, I have another question: when Mohammed the prophet was in the cave, was he visited by Jibril? How did he know it was Jibril?

Please, any Christian around: at the mountain, did Moses pay Jesus a visit? How did the disciples, or the writers of the gospels know it was in fact Moses?
