Sub 3700 points 20NSE index must be tested.

Dow down 600+ points

Which way mr market tomorrow?

The market is on a free fall till certainty is restored following Brexit victory. Major counters which attracts foreign participation at NSE will continue losing value complicating the mood by triggering selloffs. Wanjiko will be caught up in a downward stampede ripping her off the balance of resilience.

Rights issue details will probably be announced in July.
This week they are to announce the details of the scripts issue.

Woi, where is money when you need it...this is a dividend yield of 6.3% yet their payout ratio is at 30% instead of the usual 40%-50%

I need to revive a thread. I said kcb will touch 35 1 year ago. I was told to stop dreaming

Am I the only one noting that both KCB and DTB are not fairing well since they absorbed Chase dirt... I hope NIC knows what it's doing with IBL dirt.

I remain short banks until the fog clears, which will take a while now that brexit has triggered.

kcb at current prices with rights issue fog and global poking of hard currencies is buying at a premium. discounts is sub 25/=. watch and learn.

I have some alternate theories.

Kcb. It's the NPL spike. NPL of 30bn ain't nothing to sneeze at and if provisions increase profits could stagnate or decline.

Rights issue..and more so why a rights issue now with all the banking drama. Add this cocktail to ongoing bear run. Making investors. Also a gov controlled bank before election year... Damn it has baggage

Equity fairing well coz it lacks all this drama..

On Dtb. I think it's the post bonus issue dilution, coupled with bear run and lack of liquidity. But here might be biased coz I have shares. It's getting to the sweet spot

When is NSE launching the derivatives feature? Is brexit going to be another excuse for the delayed rollout smile

We've heard this story for years now, so many missed deadlines that even if they announce its launch tomorrow, we'd still be skeptical.

I have missed sizable short trades since 2014 and continues missing the banking short trade this year. Not fair Sad

Finally the weekly chart bollinger squeeze raptures to the downside. Volatility is back! That setup has taken time to form. Solid distribution that was so the market should fall like a rock! Losing the 3700 - 4000 trading range confirms lower lows trend continuation. 200 day EMA is at 3724 and the index is now below this value confirming bears are firmly in control. Fat tails coming up smile
