Poor equipment and training. This is not a job to be kijuakali. Compare those guys in that first video with this guy: A light blue KPLC labcoat is not safety gear. You need to have safety gear to do this kind of work.

Seems like those people contracted to work on street lights and mulika mwizis. Then their hoisting equipment touched the live wires. Sad. Hope they recovered.

I think there was some miscommunication between the subcontracted guys and kplc. By the time the main switch was being turned on(which is around 4 or 5pm when maintenance work for the day is expected to have been finished) , these guys were still up there. The Best is Yet to Come
