Nairobi Stock Exchange - Online Trading, Secondary Markets

I've been going through the forum history and I had a couple of questions that I couldn't quite get answers to.

I'm a fairly active trader on the US futures and options markets and would like to dip my toes into the Kenyan market.
- Who are the online brokers in Nairobi who offer online trading?
- Also, what is the status of the secondary markets (options, futures etc) in Kenya?
- Are there any services that offer free charting of Kenyan equities (mystocks.co.ke is not quite cutting it)?

Thanks,
jawgey

Anyone with this information please also state the applicable commission rate. Am looking to change my current stockbroker who charges a 2.1% commission but doesn't have an online trading platform.

@VituVingiSana, thanks I'm definitely considering that. I have a hard time paying for price information if I also have to pay for execution (trades); it would be nice to get both from the same provider.

@jawgey, who are you using as your broker right now and how long does it take to get executed on your trades?

Currently using equity bank custodial and the services are crap, orders can take up to 5days before they materialize. It's worth noting that equity only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the broker guess that's why they take time to execute an order. The more reason I want to know the commission rates of these other stockbrokers.

Yes.. I currently use them and they are solid in terms of capital and compliance with the regulators!

The online trading works very well but they have downtime once in a while to perfect and repair the infrastructure...
