Had the same experience. Visit one of the photo studios in town and buy duracell or kodak.

I think it shows that Eveready paka (the company) is as dead as a dodo since they are the sole distributors for energizer.

AAAI the chinese should bring in rechargeable or plugin
vibrators for Nairobi ladies, they are the cause of the shortage, ama they make ones that use 'D' sized batteries NB 'D' IS A BATTERY SIZE AND NOT A 'D' AS IN 'D'

What will it take for me to wrestle the distributorship of Energizer batts from nEveready? There's a huge market potential. I am tired of manually changing my dstv decoder. Imagine you are watching a movie on Mnet Action channel 100 then you want to switch to citizen news at channel 273. Unafinya decoder mpaka unachoka.

The alternative is for manufacturers to make rechargeable remotes, kama simu.

bBck in the 80s there was an oversize Sanyo D-size dry cell battery...kama hiyo ingekuwa ya Vibrators then...wacha tu.

Samsung phone has a remote App which you can download and use on your TV

I abandoned my TV remote ages ago, I don't think it works on the normal DSTV contraption they call a decoder, it should however work on the Explorer.
