Today I went to this website:

I put in particulars: Toyota Fielder 2009 and see many taxes including one that indicates excise duty is still 200k flat. That means to me it hasn't changed. Ama am I missing something?

Guys be serious. ..Excise duty can't change. ...won't change until finance bill is passed somewhere in December

My agent says it has changed....someone needs to sue KRA LOL

The finance bill has to be approved by parliament and accented to by the president. It will happen earlier since the Government needs the money to run her affairs

There is a van Iam clearing entry was done on 9 June showing duty of 396k but on 10 June the duty changed to 228k but I had to pay 396k, bad for me

So Bartum what was to be waived off if you were to pay on June 10th? Was it vat,or excise or which tax that's going to be scrapped off ?I'm short how's your breakdown

I have just spoken to my agent and he has confirmed that the new rates have been effected immediately.

I paid customs 81800, excise 200,000 and vat 96,000
I would have been approx 80k, 80k and 76k respectively
