Next is a Centum surprise. We know No Dividends, but remember no one has closed Bonuses and capital gain for the rich stock.
My assumption is that money will come from those rich Nation gurus who can see far what Kirubi is doing. Centum is a Forbes company in Africa. The Stock is going back to its original price of 62-72 and will keep rising. End of May FY 2015-16 coming.

wait a minute how come this year we haven't heard the staff awarding themselves another 1b as honoraria( hope the spelling is correct) ama its not that time yet.Just curious coz last year we called them out for doing such a selfish habit.Hope DJ read our comments

You will be rocked by overwhelming shock to learn that dividend freeze is active, staff greedy bonus is increased by 20% and an announcement(kind of an hoax) of expansion programme to excite the market ensuing rally to lock in Wanjiku at 70kes plus per share. That will be the beginning of pessimism.

Centum have baptized K-Rep bank to Sidian. The New baptized son will be changing the system and rake in more customers to Centum business portfolio. Is Sidian American or Israelite or Both?
Sidian Bank of Kenya Plans Technology Roll Out for Expansion

How much can the bank borrow to enable affiliate companies seek loans and pay back.
Will Sidian be like Helios in Equity bank?

Sidian maybe Centum's waterloo if they don't get a strategic partner to partner with them. They'll require to pump more capital every year to support any ambitions they have to grow the former K-Rep to a tier-two bank. This will either mean they have to raise more funds by exiting their current holdings or a cash call in the near future at a time when banking returns are not as rosy as they have been the past 10 years.

Unless the strategy here is to make it M&A attractive and get a bigger bank to buy them out.

They are too ambitious.

"Sidian Bank, which is ranked as a third tier lender, plans to more than triple its customer base to 12.5 million from 325,000 within the next five year."

Can't put my head around how they plan to do this.

We re moving to the site. It tkes more time to do so than to put everything together. First setting administrative offive and hiring staff, bringing in materials (imported) and doing stock taking by ll contracted parties/companies. Execution phase and lastly commissioning and handing over to operator and owner.
This is not making tea!!!!!!

Valid point on the looming cash crunch, whichever way you look at it. Importantly, what happened to the coal power plant in Lamu?In fact what is the impact of the slow pace of Lapsset on this?

Despite their stake in a couple of good mature businesses,I see centum as having entered into many cash intense green field projects and they need to constantly fund raise just to keep up.Two rivers mall has shown that the emperor might be partially naked (if there is such a thing).

As AIB say, a small shock could have a somewhat huge ripple effect on it's long term plans just like the whole KQ and tourism issue and JKIAs greenfield terminal.

All in all, there is money to be made at current price

Chase bank directors had the bank, the money, the land, the business park in Karen, the power (relative to position), they owned and cooked the books and schooled us......Cookie crumbling begins.

Who on Wazua said when companies start putting up grandiose new buildings (circa Britam HQ, Two rivers) it's time to consider walking.....

Desperate measures to try and rescue the share price.
It will still continue plunging.
"Kenya's biggest publicly traded investor, Centum Investment Co., said its full-year profit rose by 25 percent, boosted by Kenya's stock market gains."

Which are these yet we have been in a bear run

Too much propaganda. Seems they realised the 1b employees bonus didn't go down our throats well so they decided to unfreeze the bonus denial policy.
