DONT sell! instead take advantage of the falling price and buy more.Kcb is fundamentally strong. There are few factors which have affected the price:
1.The coming rights issue-some people fear dillution
2.The coming scrip dividend. There will be too many shares in the market that will result in oversupply.
3.The recent increase of 7billion NPL.

The scrip shares are very few. Around 79m shares assuming everyone opted for the scrip shares. Thats not even 10% dilution. It's 2.6% dilution. Insignificant.

The main thing is the other 2 you have mentioned.

The targeted amount to be raised via the rights issue might be raised up to cater for acquisition of Chase bank.
Details of the rights issue will be out once due diligence on Chase Bank is over. That time the bank will have made a decision concerning acquiring Chase Bank

@KIMAIYO. If you are not planning on buying more shares at a cheaper price you have 2 options.

1.Sell now buy back at a lower price. There's no guarantee of how low and when it will go lower. It's just a sentiment that it will go lower, it's likely. No guarantee. Your call

2. Hold on tight and watch it go down. It will rise again it is a good stock. Unless something bad happens.

If u were planning to buy more shares. Option 3 and the best. Buy more as they go lower. Stocks is long-term, the pay day will come

Question is: will you make a profit or loss?
