Hey guys,

I have read and reviewed several threads from 2010 about Old Mutual here so pardon me for repeating the same thing.

My friend, an insurance agent at Old Mutual tells me they can ASSURE me a 12% interest rate of my savings if I agree to save 20K monthly with them. I also get life insurance as part of the deal

I have seen some sort of similar deals with Jubilee and other insurance firms.

How true is the assured part, how easy is it for beneficiaries to claim this life insurance and what are the hidden catches to watch out for?

Is it even possible for them to assure me an interest of 12% because if so why would I need a bank account when I can just give them 60% of my monthly income for the next like 5yrs before I get any family commitments etc

In most deals with insurance companies, the devil hides in the details.

I've heard too many stories of agents misselling this type of products.

Shoot the company an email, get this in writing.

Please post the reply here. I bet the agent doesn't know what he saying.
