"Father" shows a lot of artificial enthusiazum.
The "dad" shows little remorse.
The "dad" shows little or no emotions to the missing wife (mother to chaod)
How did they know the child is his yet the child could not speak.
Who wrapped the child in a blanket and placed him in a bucket?

Verdict: Create an emotional scene, get max empathy, get money, get donation, get child adopted by sonko and disappear.

Remember the Waiganjo hawker selling bananas with a child strapped on his back?

>> THIS IS KENYA <<<

I would be corrected going forward.

@impunity, watched the guy and thought he acted weird. Too relaxed for a guy who had just lost the spouse.

But am not as mean as you. So am giving him benefit of doubt. Am attributing his behaviour to the emotional turmoil he had undergone since the tragedy.

I too will give give a little benefit of doubt, but he surprisd me non the less.
My only worry is that we are in a country called Kenya, where a "deputy" Police Commisioner called @waiganjo hire, fired, transfered, ordered arrest of officers higher in ranks...did this for years.

Hehehehe...this is funny. I don't know the truth too but he sounded weird when he was asked about how he thinks the kid survived and said that the kid is strong, he has trained the kid well to be strong. I was like what the hell is this guy talking about?

I work with survivors of violence, torture and trauma everyday. Different people have different reactions and coping mechanisms to traumatic events. I interviewed a Gudele massacre survivor who was completely calm, smiling and even joked with me severally as he told me how he lay under a pile of bodies that had started to smell ( he was 12 that survived among approx 250 pax) and drank his urine to survive. The ""dad's" calm/nonchalant/ indifferent reaction could be that he is numb right now...
