RIP. Though all I remember of her is the famous one wife declaration - quite an iron lady I think and the ruckus at Nation centre not to mention her giving a hard time to the then World Bank Kenya Director. Just the picture of arrogance.

God give peace to the family though - we all have our failures.

Very sad to lose such a mother.
Fare thee well.

Idiot. We know your true feelings.

@hardhood, that's quite insensitive of you. Get out of your hate. Did you open his heart to know what was in there? Give the brother a break to give his condolences in peace even if you disagree with him politically.

As for Kifaki family, I say inna lillahi wa inna illehi rajiun (from Allah/God we come from and to Him we shall return). May Almighty God comfort you during this time, amen! Pole Mwai na watoto kwa kupoteza mama wa taifa wa zamani.

You only have to go through this thread to know what is (or has been) in @impunity's and @mawinder's hearts. They are rotten fellows.

Rotten is an understatement. Very evil people!

Kindly post here any of the "evil" post from me.

@hardwood and @Iganamagana, since you've failed to produce anything rotten from @impunity, I can only say it's insensitive of you to hate on grounds of political differences you have with him.

This is one of the reason why Kenyans butcher each other over politicians... Shame on you Shame on you

I forgave their small tribalized minds long time ago.

She has lived her life, a very good long life at that. A high society life whereby all her adult life she has a been a cabinet minister's wife, VP's wife, first lady, ex first lady. And a billionaire.

In a country where the life expectancy is 59yrs living to a ripe old age of 76 and enjoying your grandmotherhood and seeing your family and grandchildren is quite a blessing. For some of you here the whisky will have fried your livers by 59.

RIP.

You can meet with yourself occassionally and discuss some matters? Dude, you need to see a mental health expert. You are talking to yourself too much!

As a former First lady she is entitled and deserves a state funeral. However because she will not be buried at Heros Corner the family takes over the last leg and it becomes a private family affair.

Even Former Prime Minister is entitled to one when he goes back to his maker.Relax and swallow the bitterness before it chokes you.
