In country where a majority including teachers and doctors get by on a few thousand shilling salaries these derevas who earn a million shillings a month are on strike and holding the country hostage. They have formed a cartel that is out to milk not only KQ but the whole country dry. Where are the lawmakers when you need them; apparently there is a law (or rule, someone please correct me) that prevents KQ from hiring foreign pilots. If you cannot get people to work on 1 million shillings a month salary, while other countries have pilots who earn less, what the f*ck can we do!!!?? Lawmakers should get this sorted out so that all those guys can be fired if they continue misbehaving

The Airline industry is one of the worst businesses on the planet! One of the earlier memories I had of Trump was him on the Apprentice saying "Airlines are bad business!" I was like.... SAY WHAT? he went on to explain about maneuvering everything and as soon as you get a profit your pilots go on strike! Strikes are not a localized thing... People who determine the success or failure of your business! but one of the most chilling statements has been from this guy...Ernest Nadome He once said... TUTAZIMA STIMA!! OPERATION DARKNESS! Problem with the ET arrangement is that the pilots would have to be domiciled in Addis where the planes land (JKIA is just a destination).

In the not too distant future, pilots will be fully replaced by computers.
