That's one of the great ironies of corruption. You steal so much, but in turn you ruin your own enjoyment of the money. You have fancy cars, but the crap roads ruin the drive, fancy house, but insecurity ruins the experience, you have to fly people out for simple operations, you have to import basic household items, etc etc

3 words.... POOR, CORRUPT 3RD-WORLD country.... sijui ni nini huwa tunazungushana! These countries were made for extraction and the same mindset was inherited by the state and even the reader of this statement/post knows that if he had all the money in the world he would be living else where! We never built a country to stay but rather one in which to extract stuff and go elsewhere. Even the founding fathers did not really want to build a place they would spend time in ad infinitum. I had an interesting revelation some days back - I had to get a visa for a country that does not have an embassy in Kenya and of course I thought all embassies behave like embassies in Kenya - to my shock and surprise it was in an apartment. No watchman, no soldiers, no one asking you where you are going. Not unfriendly at all. They invite you in. the sit you down in a room that looks like a converted dinning room. They assist you. They take your contacts and call you the next day when the visa is ready. Why? do we get treated the way we do in Kenya? Coz we all want to flee! Everyone wants to flee!! we just don't know it yet! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

She should not fear dying in hospitals locally which her husband as health minister was in charge of. The husband even became president but health docket he performed poorly. Reminds me of a former president who conned people in the name of Gatundu hospital and the hospital was recently opened by his son.

Why did Nyong'o Anyang Peter (he of No Raila No Peace and the ensuing genocide fame) go to LA to have his prostrate checked?? Why did BRMWK (Bupamba Risasi Moja Wuod Kong'o) fly to Malasyia to have eye surgery.....ama kweli nyani haoni mkundu wake Dumb money becomes dumb only when it listens to smart money

Actually before that incident not many people knew that in Kenya there are skilled Neuro Surgeons who perform these kinds of procedures. I think Baba and baby Osinya are the 2 patients who have done the most to raise the profile of Neuro Surgeons in Kenya.

I have no comment!!! , There was this mechanic who opened up my car's engine, said the throttle and inlet part was clogged and was creating back pressure leading to stalling and brake failure, he went ahead and cracked the think open cleaned up that throttle. From that day everything started going wrong with the engine, accelerating by its self, jerking at some rpm's, opening up is the easier part.
