So I ask myself why are British companies and other lining up to buy these sugar companies if the stories we see in the media about sugar industry in Kenya are true, i.e. comes safe guard, high production costs, no can etc.
Why would an investor invest in such a market where lose is assured.

Once investors e.g British companies buy this ailing sugar companies the better. They will install modern plants which will increase production at low cost per ton of cane crushed. Cartels will be eliminated along the supply chain. Early maturing canes with high sucrose content will be introduced into farms. The overall cost of production will come down making Kenyan sugar industry competitive globally. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

This action will tank this stock further to the abyss. I have seen sub 1bob printing whichever the direction of the government. Offload now you buy later sub 1bob so that your shareholding gets spiced upwards. When real bad news hits this counter properly you will be humbled to pull the trigger unconsciously. I am waiting third longest Elliot wave count to join below 100 cents. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

I am waiting third longest Elliot wave count to join below 100 cents. Sub 50cents will be organic. It will hit there(sub50cents) as MSC runs medieval machinery prone to frequent breakdowns. High maintenance costs. Huge wastage compared to modern plants used in other parts of the world like Egypt,Brazil, S. Africa, Mauritius beyond developed continents. Greedy directors sitting every week to take home between 40-50k per meeting while they are turning around nothing. Government has pumped 500M+500M+1B=2B to date . No progress. Farmers and workers have not been paid. This is a time bomb waiting an outburst of industrial action . I don't think management and entire MSC leadership is prepared on how to quell the demonstrations and go slow at work place. No break even as the company crushes 50% of its full capacity of 7000 tons canes per day. CMA ordered an inquiry into the books of accounts before rolling out rights issue a clear sign the last loss report might have been wider than what was printed on newspapers. The time you will hear on authoritative media that CEO of MSC has resigned citing inherent poor strategy and red tape it wanna be the beginning of great tribulations. Anything is possible with this stock! John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

It depends on the magnitude of the news! But for now most news on this counter are infertile. More waterloo news are expected than good ones. If you have read through that news properly you will come to a conclusion that government is after votes. Why is it taking long to prosecute looters? And in my knowledge nobody will test the cold behind bars. No money or property will be confiscated. No bailout even if political noise rips off the roof tops. MSC is waiting for rights issue rollout. The cash call was approved by shareholders during AGM last year. Massive dilution is likely to raise 4B kes at the current price. Which means 3 rights for 1 share held. This is terrible. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
