Hi Wazuans,

I bought a number of OTC shares for Jamii Bora 2 yrs ago . The bank has since been on an expansion with financing from a rights issue over 1 yrs ago and is planning to borrow about 5B from a combination of strategic investor , convertible debt and rights issue.

My concerns are increasing share price dilution due to the rights issues and its long strategy, which is not very clear to me right now.

Looking for advise or leads to determine to buy more ,hold or sell .

Get Financial reports and details of previous and upcoming rights and convertible debt. Current share price. To be able to value the company

None so far . Bonus shared issued only on participation in the rights issue meaning if you don't have fund .. trouble

Received kshs 1.2B. The core capital now is kshs 4.4B.
The bank has moved from no.43 to 26.
@pirate, you made the right choice. You just need to appreciate that it's long term.
Don't worry much about dilution. You will end up owning a smaller portion of a very big corporate.
The CEO & CCO have enough experience from KCB. They have a personal stake and are determined.
If you can,buy more. You will be better off than those who are buying land.

Get in touch with the legal officer from the head office. They will notify you on shares available for sale.
You will need to open an account with Jamii Bora , then deposit the amount of money you'd want to buy shares for to make it faster. It took me about 6 mths before getting someone who was selling .
