6. Flat dividend.
7. I expect solid performance of listed assets in 2016.

Taken all together, I think these results are very encouraging actually.

you would expect britam to be the top loser today but not the case so far,i personally don't take the paper loss on equities seriously ,there is potential to announce 300% profit jump in coming years

Give it time...price will most def take a hit...

i also think we will see 9 or there about in coming days

It is obvious Britam must obey the charts!

Time to scamper for safety is now at least I can see pockets of PPT.

I love charts..... especially the ability to warn us b4 news are released. charts helps to forecast and give a detailed description of how markets might behave. in this regard, btak had given its signals that the downtrend was not over as early as on 6th april 2016 even before hitting the high of 14.4 or even b4 news were released today(19th april 2016). I love charts.....

According to the management, this company has an embedded value of 10.5b. That translates to a worth of about 5.4 per share. Management teams more often than not tend to lean on the bullish side when analyzing their businesses and britam is no exception.

Current price is upwards of 11bob,that is, more than double the management's computation of fair value. Why would an investor be more optimistic of the business prospects of this company than its management? Good luck to all those who are still in this stock.

The dividend announcement is a desperate measure by management to play PPT as bears are walking tall in town tongues wagging!

Share price = EPS x PER = 0.64 x 10 = KES 6.40.

Use real PER on your calculation based on Britam fundamentals. You have randomly picked a less value in a pure attempt to balkanize the fair value of this stock.

Until the EPS is released, we [except @Obiero] do not know what it is. Why don't you give us your mathematics?

We can compare @hisah vs @spikes on Britam.

And while at it @spikes, remember to keep pace with Britam's revisions of EPS.

Current EPS = - 0.5
PE is -23

Right @murchr. However since EPS is negative, PE is irrelevant. Instead we should use another measure such as NAV to arrive at a fair value. Someone mentioned 5.4 from management but haven't had time to go through Statements of FP.

We need the balance sheet to enable us calculate NAV.
