Cheap is expensive.

There is no pride in knowingly paying more for a similar and sometimes inferior service. No pride... it's called stupidity. The only way KQ gets my money is if it's a domestic flight.

I don't know what to tell guys.

Ati cheap. The expensive KQ, where has it got you?

My first flight with Ethiopian was because KLM refused to take my temporary passport. Mind you this was waaay before the terorists.

Because I had to be in Nairobi, a friend adviced me to call the cheap Ethiopian. Those fellows were not only accomodating, they ensured that I was always picked up first at every stop because of my passport. They were saying things like "uyu ni wa nyumba"

Then as someone has mentioned here, the stopover at Addis.

You shall never see me going with those KQ's even if you paid me.

My baggage was lost in Kenya...after all Kenyans handle it. The fellows brought it to my house 1 week later intact. With a free ticket to Addis anytime.

I still have the free offer. I just don't have a ganchungwa in Addis yet.

It's simply the best airline in Africa. You will know when you take the long haul from Las Vegas to Nairobi. Once you land in Addis the whole aeroplane is singing and clapping some funny Ethiopian song.

In Kenya, we shall be lamenting on the death of Chase bank when we land.

Tafakari hayo.

And yes, its economically viable. Not cheap.

Horrible!!! Terrible!!!

They recycle cutlery (those plastic cups and trays), the belts don't fit (even for skinny passengers), the foods tastes bad (try their 5am breakfast and risk a bad tummy all day), the cabin is shabby and unkempt, cabin crew that cannot speak English so you hardly ever get exactly what you ask for (one spilt some juice on me and I think she didn't know how to say sorry, so she just stared!), no personalised inflight entertainment, overcrowded, non-existent inflight duty-free shopping etc. Cannot stand ET! Always get depressed when I have to fly ET anywhere. I fly ET ONLY when the other flights are full (never my 1st option).

Only good thing about ET, they are hardly ever late. Arrival and departure 100% on-time.
