Usimwone simba kanyeshewa ukadhani paka! This is better that @Obiero's. Usiseme hivyo! @Obiero's The Pride of Africa. the year was 2006, when I had a stunt somewhere along machakos road, my office was quite and a little boring that day, only to be interrupted by this man. he need my advice on a few things to do with built environment, but had missed the right office. but all in all he was banking on liquidating this stock to put up six five storey blocks of flats in high R. now the plans were all ready but need a further tuneup here and there. we hit on and become buddies as I shown my friend where to get sorted out. he was sorted out at 100k consultation fee, quite moderate by my friends measure. but this simba started getting the beating from the rains in relentlessly. and for sure a beating from 60s to 30s was not a kind beating. so we meet again later around city hall with my friend and had suffered a mild stroke from the shock. that was the year 2007/08 or there about. no flats and regretting the stocks idea. I have not heard from my friend since. so, when you say hii simba imenyeshewa jua labda pia amebugia na akazama kwa hill ndibwi la maji mvua na akazama kuzimia. ,Behold, a sower went forth to sow;....

Could this be the reason why this stock has taken such a beating over the past 2 days? Court halts privatization of sugar factories for 2 monthshttp://www.capitalfm.co....ugar-factories-2-months/“You can get in way more trouble with a good idea than a bad idea, because you forget that the good idea has limits.” - Ben Graham
Could this be the reason why this stock has taken such a beating over the past 2 days? Court halts privatization of sugar factories for 2 monthshttp://www.capitalfm.co....gar-factories-2-months/
This is not the reason. Let me help you. 1. Deputy President went to MSC incognito and made remarks which suggested no bailout. He said the government has challenges rolling out rights issue. 2. Another news in the EastAfrican newspaper said CMA has stopped rights issue at MSC. CMA has commissioned a team of auditors to scrutinize the true financial position of the company. 3. MSC board chairman Dan Ameyo said the market is pessimistic for a cash call. 4. CS Henry Rotich said MSC has not written to Treasury to request for rights issue participation by government. 5. Dan Ameyo said they will seek funds elsewhere. Is not clear whether the board will go for a bank loan or strategic investor. All those points above and half raw material crushing at MSC of 3500 tons per day down from 7000 tons full capacity adds to the beating you are witnessing. Privatisation for now is immaterial to cause a tilt in share price. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”

It looks like there is a lot of interest in this stock.
I sugest we buy controlling shares then decide what needs to be done to bring the co back to profitability

I sugest we buy controlling shares then decide what needs to be done to bring the co back to profitability That is a really good idea and given the amount of brains on Wazua, it would probably be a future case study. But the usual suspects of treachery, graft, tribalism, etc would likely stand in the way. However, if you decide to champion the cause, I for one would buy in and purchase my share..

It will be very hard bearing in mind that this is a community controlled company and government factor, politics will always be at our door steps and nothing meaningful development wise can be achieved. The idea will work only if mumias has its own sugar plantation field to satisfy its full capacity thus delinking it from the community and government is not a majority shareholder thus we will be able to influence at board level, other plans are just exercise in futility There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

It will trade sub 1bob very soon. It will remain sub 1 bob for long as the next move by government and management will be nasty to market participants. The problem with this process is pushed forward by the courts to 2017. The risk of politics brought into this sugar industry for individual gains. It is about politicians to make campaign money to propel them to power. There is deliberate sabotage on the sweetener sector. The turnaround strategy at MSC has been hijacked by opportunistic criminal cartels closely associated to politicians. I don't see legislative will to resuscitate MSC to life. Not until 2017 elections headwinds have subsided. John 5:17 But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
