SK,i saw the results of Tsavo in the daily nation of 31/8. I thought Tsavo was a stock agent. does CMA require these guys to publish their results in the newspaper? Whats was even interesting was the incomes at 9m. that surpassed a few stockbrokers. Shem

Can someone confirm the accurancy of the staff cost posted in the FS of Tsavo as at Dec 2009.
The figure is so low.
Kwani how much are the employees paid?

What's the difference between African Alliance Kenya Securities and African Alliance Investment Bank? Does one own the other. They have a different set of accounts. Same thing for NIC Capital and NIC Capital Securities.

The FS for AAKSL came on 30th MArch 2010. i saw they did well.

The AAKSL is a stockbroker but AAKIB is an investment bank. the diff is AAKSL deals with only clients trades whereas AAKIB does other stuff kama investment advisory adn corporate finance.

stock brokers are one of the worst payers in this country. big names like CFC (former) D&B are very poor payers. 4 the ''small'' names, even mention startn salo a a graduate is a shame!!

@Bodo. I visited by broker, faida, today, and they have actually compiled some interesting stats on the results from the kenyan brokers. I put it on scribed. Check it out below.

@the king. Funny thing although cfc and Dyer don't pay that well, they seem to pay a lot on staff costs, maybe an issue of low productivity for a bloated workforce. The shining example seems to be the Kestrel model.
