Got to chat with the South African farmer for about an hour. Its a good breed. I seriously worry about insuring it however. I don't know of any neighbour of mine who would not try and take it for a tour of his home. lol
I loved the goats more and the Jerseys. Learned a lot from those farmers and ordered a few goats and doppers.
For those who haven't gone there and were talking about going into farming,what are you waiting for? You will get better advice from the farmer than at sk.
By the way,10k litres is in optimal conditions and depends on the sire and the purpose of your farming.
