A subsidiary of Britam (BAM) reports profitable returns. That means the results are ready for Britam but I do not understand the negotiation going on either to end the wraggle before release of results or for Govt of Muritius to sell their part before the results at current price or subsidised price of 15 shillings a share on mutual agreement to resolve the interference. The Govt of that country may feel the price was biologically brought down to make it suffer severe loss.

Mauritian government asserts that second and final money will hit their bank account at the end of this month.

Which means deal is sealed now is a matter of finalising sending money to Mauritius.

Next week is likely to be involving a series of events from releasing results to making a ground breaking statement on sale of Dawood Rawat stake ...

Applause
And the best results goes as;
Mauritius to sell stake seized from Britam shareholder
Now read all my comments on how I predicted how the Kenyan Blue eyed boys screwed down the Mauritians to toe the red line.
Could someone have paid the bond for Rawat to make sure the stock remins in his friends strong hands?
What could have been the price...15Kes bagain or they bring the stock under 10 Kes?
We got it.

Good call. The boys may have bought the stake themselves or in trust for Rawat.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

The valuation losses of Equity & HF should be enough to see you sitting on a spike, Spikes.

Maybe then you'll learn how your holdings earn they bread.

POINT OF CORRECTION: Unrealized loss is a paper loss till the asset is sold is when it becomes material. Since EQUITY & HFCK have strong fundamentals albeit their current share prices terribly drowned by bear market does not mean a bad financial position.

Good. Now, move your brain back from where that spike will shoot through. Also, flush your mouth.

We came here to hunt. Either learn to be good hunter or get mauled. You are doing well on the latter.

Childishness will not be tolerated.

Now I know why they are holding the FY15 Results keeping me leaking and licking my fingers after holding the candy for so long and getting it melt/thaw on my fingers to the ground.
The suspense may result in a flat dividend.
The only hiccup is to explain how the shares were bought. Could Britan have bought them from the reserves?

Can Britam use the Rawat stock to pay investors as bonus in the ratio 1:10?

@RealTreaty your argument is also a possibility. But do we need ordinary or special general meeting to ratify that move which was not the case?

If the reserves were used to buy Dawood Rawat stake the subsequent bonus shares, if any, may have not material dilution to existing ownership.

When management comes out strongly to issue a good news statement like using reserves to take up Dawood stake, bonus issue, expansionary plans and flat-like dividends expect a rocket rally. I can't imagine Wanjiko surviving the upward stampede of the titans as supply runs dry!

However, using reserves by a company to buy its own stock is like a buyback. In Kenya company law on buyback was put on hold by AG. I think this is the hurdle that move opinionated by @RealTreaty faces.
