Fleckvieh EA ltd will be showcasing two of their pedigree cows in a bid to introduce them to Kenya.One will be a pure Fleckvieh while the other will be a crossbreed with a Holstein.A pure Fleckvieh can produce as much as 10,000 litres of milk per lactation besides being also very good meat cows.

As said............ and Kenya will be the third country in Africa where this super cow is being introduced besides SA and Namibia.I understand this pedigree cow will be showcased at the Brookside/Livestock breeders show in Nrb starting 11th this month.Maybe if you are near town you can attend,hear and see for yourself and pass on the information here for those who will not be able to attend.Entrance fee is 200 bob per skull.......

i see a surge in cattle rustling in areas where this cow will be introduced...

would be interested in knowing how much in premiums i will need to pay to insure this super-ngombe...
