Does this mean we should be taking the HY financials with a pinch of salt? or maybe it is the new CB Governor who is ensuring clean up How can HY profits reverse to such a loss at year end This makes one question all banks' results posted before the new CBK governor came in. That's the final trigger for a bidless vacuum to pop up. If there's one thing a CB fears is a confidence crisis. Trust is very expensive to bail out! So who should be analysing the results for us now that it seems figures can be played with to cushion negative news only to explode later. How is the price gaining after announcing a loss? There is a trap here for the guys buying Sold at 13.10 yesterday everything...let me stick to bonds hii ukora is just too much.... @maka, can you check inbox on 101 on Bonds please. 2008impunity (at) gmail (dot) com Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

Where is "h" in Tiefs? The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

After the imperial bank and dubai bank lessons, and after a romour that nbk was restricting huge withdrawals a while back, customers might flee by seeing this smoke. "Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning."

9 months ago. the Daily Nation wrote extensively about the mess at NBK. A gang mostly from the CEO's ethnicity said the Daily Nation was malicious. Your top lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi was the chief supporter of Munir on Twitter. Here are the links to the two articles http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/s98ugvz/-/index.html

If we have any memory remaining, we will remember that before Kibaki came to power KCB and NBK were on their way to their death beds. They had advanced massive loans to KANU politicians who never paid. KCB having a bigger customer base was not in such a bad situation as NBK. The government had to put Billions in National Bank to save it. It seems we are now back to the bad KANU days where loans are dished out based on your connections. The major Shareholders are NSSF and the Govt, two institutions financed through sweat and blood of (Wanjiku)

When is elections? ? Next year? Yes! ! Trust me these bank officials will be running for mpigs and go to parliament and head finance committee. They aren't going to be charged in court. Their tribal cronies will come aggressively in their defense. They will hire some villagers from Garissa to stand outside integrity Centre and proclaim our tribe is being finished. Duale will stand on their defence . Kenyans will soon forget what happened and everybody will clap their hands praising them for being legendary tieves. Eacc headed by their fellow tribesmen will clear them off wrongs. Poor wanjiku will face losses through nssf since ni malipo ya uzeeni. @ vvs will also comment that this is why I avoid government stocks. Watch and seeWelcome to kenya where a stray lion running from urban encroachment is being shot down to death instead of being tranquilised and taken to a different park. Wish some of these people can tour western countries and see how cases like nbk, stray lion are handled. Shafting continues ........ By the way where is my friend MaichBlack? ???
