Cost of goods to and from the Americas will go down - shipping and handling Is the route profitable?do we have airlines willing to fly this route? Even ET and SA are struggling with the direct flights.I for one would prefer a layover(2-3 hrs) than staying in a an aircraft for 20-30 minutes refueling without the option of leaving the aircraft for an 18hr flight Americans tourists in Kenya are very negligible while the likes of Kiash usually fly home after every 3-5 years.Trade between Kenya and Merica has been on decrease. This route IMO is not profitable unless KQ wants to fly it for pride If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Do they sell flowers fruits and veges? Never heard of it. They dont even need a cargo plane As I said, one can only test the waters once they put their foot in it. My 3 cousins went to kiashland 15yrs ago and they have never come back. Must be makaratasi issues. My aunt is the saddest person ever despite all her kids being majuu.

KCB proposes to build 40fl residential buildings in NgaraQuote:Q: You have placed a bid with Nairobi County to redevelop three sites in Nairobi. What does the deal entail?
A: Nairobi has been grappling with the issue of housing its ballooning population. There is no idle land in the city for development. However, the city sits on old estates within a walking distance of the CBD with a very low density. The county has been looking for partners in redeveloping these estates.
We bid for three sites, namely Old Ngara, New Ngara and Jevanjee estates. In New Ngara, we propose to erect high rise flats comprising 1,213 units, 926 units in Old Ngara and 1,672 units in Jeevanjee – all at a cost of Sh25 billion. However, these are proposals at this stage. If given the opportunity, we shall be sitting with all relevant partners and stakeholders to configure the final projects scope and details before implementation. Quote:Q: The designs in your bid documents show that the redevelopment will consist of 40-storey residential apartments, or the tallest structures in East Africa. Why this height?
A: Well, this is the way to go in many parts of the world. Those who travel know that this is how people live in New York or Dubai. There is no reason why you cannot have your home on the 35th floor of a building. Remember too that land is a scarce commodity in the city. If we erect units similar in size to the current ones that will soon be demolished, we will not be solving the housing problem. If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

The Exchange Tz wrote:Konza Technopolis City is now connected to the electricity grid, adding to the list of infrastructure developments as the government races to make the Sh595.8 billion project a reality.
The connection follows the completion of 132KV substation in Konza to supply the Techo City with high-voltage power tapped from the Juja-Rabai line.
The new substation has the capacity to supply Konza City with 50 megawatts of power, equivalent to Eldoret town’s current consumption.
This now paves the way for businesses to start investing in the mega project and also marks completion of the government-led infrastructure in phase 1 of the project.
Other infrastructure developments that have been completed at Konza include a four-kilometre road network within the city, fibre optic connectivity, sewerage and water connection by Tanathi Water Services Board.
“We are on cause to fulfilling our mandate which is to provide serviced land at Konza for investors,” said ICT principal secretary Victor Kyalo . http://exchange.co.tz/ko...d-to-nations-power-grid/"There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. Have you been to Konza ama you just read about it in the newspapers? In case you don't know, its a fenced off piece of flat land that is best used for cattle ranching. However, govt operatives already made their millions by selling the same to Wanjiku promising a technocity Why does one need to develop a dedicated technocity, technology companies were founded in garages etc. "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline."
