I pity those guys who stand next to them in the urinal, because some droplets can fall on their faces... Why did God in all his wisdom create it then... only to ask people to cut it off? He should have known better - right? @mavegs, of course God always Knows better. God in all His wisdom created all children not knowing anything, but we teach a child to read and write. Would that not be unwise according to your reasoning? You and me are born illiterate and we would have remained that way if we were not educated on how to read and write. Those millions of people who never learn to read or write, by your definition should remain like that to demonistrate "the wisdom of creator", right? 2 points... 1) I don't speak for God - I personally don't think he had anything to do with the pratice 2) the comparison made is one similar to comparing apples to oranges.... while reading/literacy is an improvement on the human for and we can see tangible benefits of what it can do to humans, you struggle to show the benefits of circumcision over and above the dubious benefit of "not smelling your hands" after using the john! Anthropomorphic ideas of God among city elites are quite telling. Anyway, http://mobile.nation.co....l/-/dvqisk/-/index.html
@tycho, amazingly, 1400 years ago a man made the same plea of compromise (read below), which is now stated by the pair of US gynaecologists in Journal of Medical Ethics It was narrated by Abu Dawood from Umm ‘Atiyyah al-Ansaariyyah that a woman used to do circumcisions in Madinah and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her: “ Do not go to the extreme in cutting; that is better for the woman and more liked by the husband.” All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
