From @Ash Ock's post - If we accept the simulation hypothesis we also accept that anything is possible and that nothing can be determined...as the extent of the illusion cannot be determined nothing can be determined.

We're back to absurdism.Existence is what you choose to believe it is.You could be right and we may never know or you could be wrong and it would be irrelevant.


There's one thing that can be determined; subjective experience. And this to me, excludes absurdism.


An absurdist can believe absurdism doesn't 'exist'.

How big the universe is? Well, the universe is everything and all the 'nothingness' beyond this everything, hence it's infinite.

Whatever conclusion an intelligent agent reaches can only be evaluated when it's tested in it's social context and ecosystem against its needs.

Therefore for me the questions that arise are who benefits from the reality of eternity? Who loses? What's changed by such a reality ... how does that affect action in the social context? How does it meet the intelligent requirements that spurred the thought?

So you're essentially alone in your thinking and no one can ever validate your thoughts ...
