Has anyone invested in this company?

Their share price is currently low at KES 19, and as per the last 12 months, it has potential to go up.

One problem I note is that it has been stagnant since April 09 ???

Also, I don't know much about preference shares except that the dividends are fixed.

Good people, what is your advise, to invest or not?

Sometime in Dec, Socnaf was bought out of Eaagads by Waguthu holdings and I'm not even sure whether Eaagads is still trading at the NSE

Who are these waguthu guys?
Or will they rip off the minority shareholders?

For what looked like an eternity, this stock has been so dormant.

About a two years ago, I tried to sell off my holding but getting them picked at the NSE was not easy. I only sold off half of my holding and forgot about the other half - in dejection.
Today I am smiling from ear to ear.

The horizon doesnt seem neigh as it has been appreating at the days maximum every day for three weeks todate

Wow... I think it's more to do with the land than the coffee... Something tells me there will be an Eagaads Housing Estate soon...

when stocks like eagaads rise this fast on such thin volumes traded they can fall down just as fast unless there is something driving it up except speculation....

Be comforted by the fact that you made money. It doesn't happen too often in the stock market.

On the other hand the stock could have gone down to Kshs 8 and u would be thanking urself.

@MV - true true. I have come to like it, and will want to get in again when it eventually comes down.

EAAGADS is rising because Cedarsoc a Mauritius Company bought 62% stake in the company. I don't know what Cedarsoc is planning to do there that has caused a more than 200% gain within 3 months.

Funny this share has orders at 16.35/- today, guys were dissapointed to learn that they are not share holders inTatu city nor do they have any plans to venture into real estate, they said they will stick to their core business in large scale farming, this has caused the drop, I wonder if I should buy at the low or just keep off.
