@aemathenge - It is not happening coz Kenyans like me like profits/dividends better than some under-qualified politically connected CEO...

BTW, (the hugely profitable) Emirates is also run by expats... The prez is a guy called Tim Clark...

@VVS is speaking my mind... if i get any wind of GOK trying to stick one of their cronies into this position i will catch the first plane back to the motherland and cast my vote against that nonsense and i would advise all investors to do the same...

profits and growth first before GOK's interests...

Was it an error that I saw on the NSE board today that the demand for this stock was 1.5Bn!!!!!!
Supply was at 19M!

I was equally shocked! It would have hit 10/- and my sell order is at 5.8Sad

if the info was correct then it should send the share price through the roof as supply will start getting limited running towards the results...
