This guy has literally "professionalised" Kariobangi Sharks to a level where players are more important than the officials. The players are insured and besides his image, he strives to bring Corporate sponsorship on board. The guy is 37 (generational Change) and this is the best thing. I think Kenya now has the youngest football executive at FIFA. New ideas will definitely flow, though this will depend on the buy-in of the other executives. I hope the wrangles will be a thing of the past as he knows the intricacies of running a football team with meager resources. He now has a budget of 1B from FIFA and the corporate sponsorship to boot.

Is he a mountaineer?

Fortunately/unfortunately yes!!!!!
He at least has a passion for football. He has literally run the team almost single handedly. The players are motivated and he didn't start yesterday.
Most of the former executives have little or no experience of starting or running a lower division team.
Look around and see that the likes of Platini (though disgraced), Hayatou (former Cameroon athlete) have been sportsmen themselves. I think we are turning the corner.

Hayatou is the worst enemy of African Football..

Kenyans have suffered through 15 years of corrupt FKF leaders.
I am hoping that team change really means change
By the way, was the constitution changed to remove the position of secretary general ama vipi?

Nick Mwendwa is a nice guy but his team is made up of Nyamwea´s former team members. They sensed defeat and jumped ship in the last minute. I do not have too much hope to sense maga changes in the so called team change

Yes he could be mountaineer from Makuyu. So what does that have to do with his ability?
