Bennet Omalu, the Nigerian Neuropathologist who first described CTE a degenerative disease of the brain that affects football players is married to a Kenyan, Prema Mutiso.

Omalu is the subject of a major Movie, "Concussion" and is played by Will Smith. His wife Prema who worked as a nurse at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi is played by the beautiful Gugu Mbatha. I thought the name sounded Kamba too but she is English with a South African father.

It just feels nice to hear Kenya mentioned in a movie and not in a negative way.

The American football league went after this Omalu chap like the mafia. They almost ruined his career. I am so happy to see a mwafrigha vindicated. I am even happier to see a Mwafrigha recognized as the foremost expert on a scientific subject matter.

With regard to Conje, I think her symptoms are more severe than CTE. Her symptoms seem closer to what Muhammad Ali has. Boxing without head gear, is insane especially knowing what we know today.

On Conje, were there not rumors of heavy weed use?

Head gear or no head gear, as a boxer one should never let their head be pounded. actually, in some countries in the west, head gear has been prohibited because it is proven that ,boxers with head gears don´t dodge blows compared to boxers with no head gear.Again, to conclude that boxing is the primary cause of Alzeihmer is missing the point, Boxing could trigger but it is not the primary cause, otherwise every boxer would have head issues
