Is he a mountaineer?

Fortunately/unfortunately yes!!!!!
He at least has a passion for football. He has literally run the team almost single handedly. The players are motivated and he didn't start yesterday.
Most of the former executives have little or no experience of starting or running a lower division team.
Look around and see that the likes of Platini (though disgraced), Hayatou (former Cameroon athlete) have been sportsmen themselves. I think we are turning the corner.

Goodstuff, congratulations to Mwendwa, I am happy for Kenyan football today. Rachier was a status quo candidate having made a deal with Nyaweya!!!!
