I want to build 1 car garage detached? any idea on cost

Hi guys,
I wish to build a 1 car detached garage. Simple, small and secure with metal gate.
Anyone have some ideas? Also an estimate of how much it would cost. The area is in Limuru. So I am thinking of putting some sort of slab concrete roof, not mabati for added security... any ideas?

Kes 200/sqm.. Materials and Fundis are readily available in Limuru. Double Car garage will be cheaper convenient in the long ran. Good Luck!!

@businesspundit... expect that Kabogo (the County) will require architectural schematics and about 15% Tax on the entire project. if you start building without letting him know... his boys are going to stop the project through an affidavit of some kind..Therefore factor all that in the cost. Kimani your good neighbor will not be able to draw a garage for you. Sorry. Certified architect pekee.

You can always use the top as space for loft/overhead water tanks. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
