Went short with cable at 1.5350,but stop f 40 pips taken.... then the market comes crashing. Those moments you wish you didnt have a stop loss. But again,no! Not putting stop losses has made more losses than protecting the apparent gains.

Looking to short again at current levels above 5.3000 for some 50 or so pips.

On other topics... I guess one has a freedom to read or ignore posts. But dont want to be dragged into all these.

Taken the few pips on going short with the cable. I think the problem of the spreads its across the divide.Am also feeling it with my broker but still manageable.

@toni yeah sometimes you do wish you dont have the SL cause you would have reaped but thats how we need to vumilia. I got my take from the GBP/USD the spreads acted funny,decreasing your margins but not that much.

@passyson regarding the pairs of GBP/USD EUR/USD and the comdolls pairing; Thanks for the great tip,i will look into them during this session and look into their behaviour in other market session.

Booked profit of 75 pips on the short. Looking to short further on upticks.

BoE's King currently talking... Says another rate cut imminent and UK is probably in recession. Bad news for the pound! Ultimately it may head to the big support of 1.4000 in the next few weeks.

Hello Friends,

What to say about the reality of forex market. Now this market has come so down that don't have any thing to say. But i can only say that trading your strategy is the only key to success in this market.

@jeffsmith

Please i do respect your views and concerns,but i think if we are all mature and also give space for others with their invesments options to explore and discuss i think it could be prudent if you stop popping the forex discussion in everythread you come across and giving the repetitive information.If you are a trader please can you stick to one post or have your own post individual rather than looking on the many posts.You are making others angry and making it monotonuos and hence it would discredit people here who are trying to help and make them as if they are busybodies so i wish you would also respect other traders too. If you are working for AVAFX or another firm please i dont think its good to "market" in that way be respectful and we shall give you the same respect as traders.

We are here to help one another.

@cckip I think the internet connections vary depending on what you are interested(broadband or mobile) but you can get very stable internet connections too.

@passyson looking to short the GBP/USD,whats your take?

Afternoon...

Looking at the market is really quite mixxed no particular direction,the signals from the London session are still,mixed.I will be still waiting for my signals at the BOE minutes i think then it would usher the London session,but will be looking to raid some few pips in NY session which i think has a lot of data.

@toni @passyson @ngaatu where are hunting your pips?

The market is quite mixed and i am looking to get into the pre-NY session and Ny session to hunt for around 30 pips.Am expecting the greenbuck to have a negative impact with the data to be released still the signals are mixed.Currently monitoring the market and looking at options.

@kilabe,Ngaatu

Am pip-raiding my favourite - GBPUSD. Using the 5 and 1 min charts to get the extreme ends of the oscillators and booking some 20-40 pips per trade. Really hard to give a clear direction in these conditions.

All the best y'all!

@cckip

The internet connections in Kenya are not that bad as they used to be sometime ago. So the best thing would be to be on the ground.
